PLEASE FOLLOW THE STEPS BELOW TO OBTAIN YOUR LTC:

(1) Set Up an txt.texas.gov/ account with DPS

‍(2)  Take the online class or contact Bill Agnell for an in person class.

(3) Complete the range portion of the LTC course.

• The qualification consist of firing 50 rounds. 20 rounds shot at 3 yards, 20 rounds shot at 7 yards and 10 rounds shot at 15 yards.

(4) Save the LTC-104 you receive in class and any documents received from DPS.

(5) Log in to RSD Connect and complete your application for an LTC.

Attention Out Of State Applicants: Please be aware that all handgun license courses must be taught in Texas.
