DPS FAQ's

(1) Register online with DPS . (see notice about DPS forms below)

(2) Register to take the next CHL Course.

(3) Have 2 passport photos taken without  glasses  (Walgreen's, CVS Pharmacy)

(4) Register on-line to have your fingerprints taken.

(5) Obtain any documents requested by DPS.

(6) Complete both the range and class portion of the CHL course.

(7) Mail required materials to DPS.

Newly Revised CHL Forms Available Online
The days of "it's in the mail" are long over. Applicants can go online, download the forms and print.  For those applicants who want more options, complete and submit your application online which avoids mailing delays. Either way, applicants now have more options when applying for a CHL license.
